Welcome!

My name is CaraMia and I decided to make a crocheting blog. I’ve known how to crochet when I was 10 (around that age) and was handed down my great-grandmother’s crocheting hooks. At the time I didn’t think much of it and decided to not continue the interest. Over the years (especially during COVID) I was constantly in my head with what my life’s calling was. Everyday I was questioning myself with my artistic abilities and what was going to make me happy.

As a spiritual person I decided to meditate through crocheting. While picking up my Grandma Jenny’s crochet hooks and her old written patterns (all written on random scraps of paper due to the Great Depression Era) I laughed remembering how to crochet… It was like riding a bike and to be honest, it was the best feeling I could have received. I’ve grown more connected to my great-grandmother and feel like I spend time with her even though she passed before my birth.

My goal for this blog is to share my love and spirit for crocheting. To learn new techniques and share them. I want to connect with others who love the craft, want to share, and give a little more love to world.
